Former NAFDAC director general and a top Benue state Governorship contender from the kwande axis, Dr. Paul Orhii Botwel on Thursday, 7th April, 2022 at his Abuja residence, says he is best Positioned to deliver in Benue state.
Dr. Paul Orhii stated this while receiving a nomination form from the group of his supporters urging him to contest the Benue state Governorship.
According to him, Benue state will be more richer than the oil rich Rivers State.”As you know, Benue has a lot of potential especially in agriculture.
You know that Benue can be richer than even the oil rich Rivers State. Agriculture is our crude oil and we will make more money and deliver Benue through agriculture”.
“So i’am particularly positioned to govern Benue state base on my prior knowledge at NAFDAC. I see how other countries make use of food industries turned around”.
He thank the group of his supporters for given him a marching order and promised not to let his supporters down.
“I thank you been patriotic Nigerian for the support. On behalf of the entire supporters group you are here to present this form (Governorship) to me. Thank you very much. My wife also expresses her profound gratitude to you. We thank you”.
“My little contributions to the nation have been recognized by friends across the country and beyond. This is why you are to send me forth to go and see how we can build on whatever have been build in Benue state by the previous administrations and take Benue to greater hight”.
On zoning, the Governorship hopeful said he is not against it in Benue state but it should be done on knowledge and experience and not just geo-political zoning system.
” The zoning arrangements done by the Benue state governor His Excellency, Ortom, is just a trial. It is too late to involve zoning when almost all the aspirants have bought their expression of interest Forms”
