APC Pegs Chairmanship Form At 20M, Begins Sale Of Forms

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has commenced sale of forms to aspirants contesting for various offices in its National Working Committee (NWC), Ahead of March 26 National Convention.

Spokesman of the APC Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee CECPC, Barr. Ismaeel Ahmed who made the disclosure  while addressing journalists Tuesday in Abuja said the interim leadership of the party also rolled out fees for different offices.

Ahmed said  the cost of form for the post of Chairmanship is pegged at N20 million while aspirants vying for the post of deputy Chairmanship are   obtaining their form with N10 million each.

“As it is in the document signed by the party’s Director of Organisation, Al-Mustapha Medaner, the aspirants have between March 14 and 18 to obtain the forms.

With the recent approval of zoning the APC Chairmanship seat to the North-central, only five out of the 13 known aspirants may end up testing their popularity at the convention”. He noted.

The five aspirants include a serving Senator and two term Governor of Nasarawa, Tanko Al-Makura; Minister of Inter-governmental Affairs Sen.George Akume, Sani Musa, Saliu Mustapha and Abdullahi Adamu, another former governor of Nasarawa State and serving senator.

Meanwhile, Saliu Mustapha has been reported to be the first aspirant to pick the Chairmanship form.
