Destined Children Orphanage Home Kado Abuja, is soliciting from well meaning Nigerians, Federal Government and Philanthropists to help raise the sum of fifty million Naira to enable them secure the building housing the children.
The founder of the orphanage home, Mrs. Gladys who made the appeal in Abuja said the owners of the building have put it for sale and were given a year interval to vacate the building else will be thrown out in December this year.
She said the children under the roof are over 45, as they don’t have such amount of .Oney and urgently need help to avoid been evicted from the building.
On her part, Programme Director, Healper Inc. USA, Jane Rogers, noted that Healper will be be organising an award and fundraising on the 25th June, 2022 at the Nera hotel, Jabi Lake in Abuja, to raise funds to secure home for the Orphans of Destined Children Orphanage Home who may be rendered homeless if they fail to procure the property by the end of the year.
“we have done this before and we can do it again. we have done this in Jos at that time, I use my platform to garner support for the victims of crisis in Jos”.
According to her, they were able to pull considerable support leading to the huge success of the event.
The event she said was hosted by some celebrities like Regina Askia and Razaq Adoti and she still believe that there are many kind-hearted Nigerians out there who would not want the property of these kids being thrown out by December.
“There is urgent need to take urgent step to secure the home. Please help save the home of Destined Children Orphanage, let’s do it for these kids and I bet you, prosperity will surely be kind to each of us”, she added.
Also speaking, leader of the Unique Sisters Club, Chinasa Divine, appealed to Nigerians to assist Destined Children Orphanage Home raise the funds to secure the home as the children need shelter, as on their part, they have also come to help the Orphanage Home raise the funds in order to secure the building.
The Orphanage Home is calling for help to avoid been evicted in December.
