The Legislative Writers Forum National Assembly Abuja has bestowed Excellence leadership award on the Commander Kaduna State Vigilance Service, Umar Mohammed Ibrahim.
presenting the award to the commander in his office in Kaduna, the leader of the delegation Mr Abraham Ogwaje explained that the meritorious award is in recognition of the exemplary leadership qualities that the commander is known for over the years, adding that in complementing the conventional security agencies in the state, KDVS has excelled in protecting lives and properties across all the local government in Kaduna state.
In his response, the Commander dedicated the award to the management and staff of KDVS for their selfless service to humanity and the their father land even in the face of enormous challenges facing security outfit, noting that even with the intermittent attack on their personnel the service has improved significantly and more dedicated to securing the State.
While pointing out that the award is a milestone in the annals of the service as it will encourage them to perform better and stronger, he stressed that they will continue to improve in their services and compliment other security agencies in the state for a safer and better society in Kaduna State.
