Legislative Writer’s Forum (LWF), a coalition of journalists assigned to be covering the National Assembly has commended the Chairman of Giwa local government area of kaduna State and it’s management team for driving various projects and programs for the development of the council.
The organizing secretary of the forum Mr Abraham ogwaje made the commendation during a visit to the council on inspection of projects and programs executed by the council from 2018 till date.
it would be recalled that the Chairman of Giwa local government council Hon Abubakar Shehu Giwa has achieved a lot in all the items of government expenditures since his assumption of office by executing over 124 projects across the ward’s in Giwa local government.
Among the achievements are the construction of 25km lateritic feeder road from kayak idasu to kidandan, rehabilitation of feeder road, construction of blocks of class room, primary health, police station, mosques, electrifications, installation of 2000 HV line, replacement of 3000kva transformers among other projects in the council.

Hon Shehu further explained that the years ahead will be a blessing to the people of Giwa local government, adding that he was able to touch and provide the 8 items of government expenditures across the ward’s in the council
“we have also mitigated the insecurity in the council area by working with all the security agencies in the state.other achievements of Giwa local government chairman include the provisions of electricity, building and renovation of schools among others”. He noted.
