The Legislative Writers Forum Abuja Nigeria has conferred an award of Excellence leadership on the commander of JTF operation Zenda for his tireless efforts in combating crime in the state.
presenting the award to the commander onbehalf of the president of the forum, Mr Onye Agih extolled the excellent job done by the unit in Benue State particularly the recent rescue operation that led to the freedom of Reverend father Anthony Adikwu, the parish priest of saint margrets parish in Ajegbe Awume in Ohimini Local Government Area of Benue State.
Mr Ogwaje stated further that the award was necessitated by the years of achievements recorded by the Zenda in Benue State under the able leadership of CSP Justin Gberindyer Commander Operation Zenda JTF.
Mr. Ogwaje further explained that the visit to the unit and the presentation of an award is in recognition of the efficient service delivery in fighting crime in Makurdi and it environs, stressing that the award is meant primarily to spur the commander and his men into more proactive approach in the fight against criminal’s in the state.
While responding, the Commander thanked the forum for deeming him fit for the award, noting that the fit so far achieved was basically because of the intelligent gathering occasioned by the synergy Benue sister agencies in the State, as according to him, the award is spark for the unit to push further and stronger stressing that the unit will do everything humanly possible to protect life’s and properties of the Benue indigenes.
The commander however appreciated the State Commissioner Police Okoro Alawary Julius for providing equipments and Man power to enable them carry out their duties.
