The Legislative Writers Forum National Assembly Abuja has honored the founder and Provost of Margret Mosunmola College of Science and Health Technology Owo, Dr Isaac Oyegoke for his outstanding corporate social responsibilities to the society
presenting the award to the Provost in his office at Owo, the organizing secretary of the Forum Mr Abraham Ogwaje explained that apart from the quality of lecturers in the college, the college has consistently carried out community base free medical outreach to the most vulnerable and the downtrodden within Owo and it’s environs.
Mr Ogwaje pointed out that even in the face of financial challenges, the college has significantly impacted on the students and provided medical care to over 25,000 people in the various communities within Owo.
Responding, the founder and Provost of the College, Dr Isaac Oyegoke expressed gratitude to the forum and it’s management for recognizing the services being rendered by the College, stressing that he wouldn’t have achieved much without the competent team and staff of the institution.
Dr Isaac further noted that he has enjoyed the support of prominent sons and daughters of Owo since the inception of the school about five years ago even as he thanked the Olu of Owo for providing 30 hectares of land for the permanent site of the college. He however expressed satisfaction over the students for projecting the image of the college to the outside world even in their trying times.
On his the National Association of public Health practitioners of Nigeria Ondo State chapter Fotorunso Mowosola while expressing gratitude over the award, he acknowledged that the College has done well over the years, adding that his Association will continue to partner with the College in order to move the institution to an enviable hight.
