Healpers To Organize Fundraising And Humanitarian Awards For Destined Orphanage Home In Abuja

Healpers Incorporated USA, has said it is set to host a fund raising for Destined Orphanage Home as well as an humanitarian awards in Abuja.

This was in bid to secure home for the orphans at the Destined Children Orphanage, who may be rendered homeless if they fail to purchase the property they lived in by the end of the year.

In pre-event news briefing at the weekend in Abuja, the country’s Representative and Programme Director of Helpers, Jane Thomas Rogers, said the event was aimed at honouring personalities who have committed their time and resources in rendering service to humanity and to raise funds to secure home of the orphans at Destined Children Orphanage.

According to her, the building which was said to worth about N50 million naira is said to be put on sale by the owner.

Speaking at the briefing, the President of the foundation, a renowned American fashion designer and the CEO of Tradionale and Jean Kara, Estella Ijeoma Ogbona said, “we have done this before and we can do it again. we have done this in Jos at that time, I use my platform to garner support for the victims of crisis in Jos”.

According to her, they were able to pull considerable support leading to the huge success of the event.

The event she said was hosted by some celebrities like Regina Askia and Razaq Adoti and she still believe that there are many kind-hearted Nigerians out there who would not want the property of these kids being thrown out by December.

“There is urgent need to take urgent step to secure the home. Please help save the home of Destined Children Orphanage, let’s do it for these kids and I bet you, prosperity will surely be kind to each of us”, she added.

The event will take place in Abuja at the prestigious Nera hotel, Jabi lake on June 25, 2022.
